All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them [af]when he blessed them. He blessed them, every one with the blessing appropriate to him. Genesis 49:28
Jacob spoke words well fit to each of his sons. He predicted what God had planned for each of them. Knowing God’s plans for their lives was a blessing, even though for some, suffering and a difficult path was ahead. Indeed, God is involved in the daily affairs of men.
God has at times revealed His plans for me. Just knowing that He is involved gives me the hope and satisfaction I need.
God, You are Sovereign and faithful. I know I can trust You.
