Inviting Others Into The Game

Therefore, brethren, select from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this task.
But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.
The statement found approval with the whole congregation; and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch Acts 6:3-5

Stephen was chosen among those who would lead out coordinating the feeding of the widows. This one one of the first delegated duties of the Apostles. One of the noteworthy characteristics of Stephen was that he was full of faith and the Holy Spirit. Oh, how the church needs to see more men and women appointed for the work of ministry. There remains a great harvest of souls and love to be expressed.

How am I inspiring others into ministry? Do I think every problem or opportunity is mine to solve or address?

Lord, help me be one who share the ministry and invites others into the game. It really is the greatest life, serving You and Your people. On this day of worship, I pray many will be drawn together and lift up Your name in praise. You are worthy.
