Imitation is the sincerest form of compliment… as the saying goes. The believers in Thessalonica, Greece were looking alot like Paul, Silvanus and Timothy in action, love, suffering with joy, etc. And people were talking about it. What a great report.
When people talk about me, do they mention things that would look “Jesus-like’? After all, he is my guide in all things. When it comes to joy, power, love, and truth… are any of these lacking in my life right now.
Oh Holy Spirit, reveal to me where I am lacking in Imitation of Christ and fill me up. May my life be a compliment to you.
