Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:11
The Bible says that I should pretend, reckon, or consider myself to be dead to sin. This means I live without the draw toward sin. Instead I live in a way that my life is fully alive toward God.
How am I doing this now? I am starting my days in prayer and devotion to God. Listening for God throughout the day and building myself up through Bible study and fellowship.
God, I reckon myself dead to sin and the old life. I am alive to You. Lead, guide and speak to me today, for your servant awaits!
