I love this thought. That at some point, if we are skillful at something (perhaps anything), we will be promoted and receive recognition.
What in the world am I good at? When I receive recognition, who receives the glory… me or God?
Lord, I thank you for the gifts, talents, passions and skills that are because of You. Remind me when things go well to humbly point north. If I receive applause, let me only bow when I realize that You are pleased.
