Oh give us help against the adversary, for deliverance by man is in vain.
Through God we will do valiantly and it is He who shall tread down our adversaries. Psalm 108:12-13
We can face our problems on our own or with God as our strong support. That’s exactly what David says. Let God take care of them. I love how he says ‘through God we will do valiantly’. When man delivers us from our troubles the deliverance is almost always temporary. God has a way of doing eternal things.
When it comes to facing my adversaries, am I reaching out to God and letting Him take the lead?
God, today I feel as though the list of adversaries is short. But those who would be against me, I pray that You will lead them into righteousness and that you will deliver me.
