hinds feetAs for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God?
It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.
He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
You make your saving help my shield; your help has made me great.
You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way. 2 Samuel 22:31-37

In the book “Hinds Feet On High Places”, the author describes our journey into an intimate relationship with the Lord using the metaphor of a young deer gaining strength and confidence to go higher and higher upon the mountain. David reflects on his life and experience and sees how God has meant so much to him. He is perfect in all of His ways. He is flawless, He shields, a Rock, providing strength and security, training for battle, strength and so much more.

Is this how I have come to know the Lord?

God, I am still discovering all the facets of Your great love and that You really are active in my life each day. Help me in the challenges and opportunities that present themselves today.
