For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, But the righteous man shall live by faith. Romans 1:16-17
I heard a worship song sung in Spanish called “Hay Poder” which means “There is Power”. The message and life of Jesus are what the gospel is all about. And the gospel has the power to save people both in this life and the next. Anyone who believes and lives by faith in God, will be saved.
This is where I am right now. I have believed in Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. Each day I walk in faith (fully trusting) in Him.
God, there really is no greater life or greater love than that found in Jesus. May the transforming power of knowing You through Jesus Christ be evident in me today. Oh how I need You.
