King Lemuel received excellent wisdom and direction from his mother. He was told to avoid abusing alcohol, wasting his vigor on women, and instead to advocate for those in need. What a noble calling for a king. He then was instructed on how to identify a godly woman. Oh how our young men need this counsel today!
How about my sons? Have I given them this direction and purpose for their lives? Do I model it?
Lord God, I am certainly blessed to have the kind of wife and life partner described in Proverbs 31. So, I know my sons and daughter have a wonderful role model. Please prompt me to direct my sons especially with this godly advice.
