And a leper came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.”
And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
Jesus could heal with a touch or just a word. The prophet Isaiah saw ahead of time and predicted this of the Messiah when he wrote… “He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases.” In this case, the healing would be a testimony to both the healed and the priests. How wonderful it is to have a God who cares and can heal our bodies. I love that so many people have dedicated their lives to continuing the healing ministry of Jesus by becoming doctors, nurses, counselors, etc.
How am I involved in bringing healing into people’s lives? What healing can God do in my life?
Lord Jesus, as this new day begins, I pray You will do miracles through our team in Kenya. If there is the need for healing, please give them the faith to ask You for it. Would you help my body recover completely too? Well, we have lots ahead today. Please lead and guide me and use my words for Your glory.
