The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. Psalm 18:1-4
David says that God has revealed Himself without a word. Nature and creation speak volumes about our loving God. It interesting that Paul says the same think in Romans chapter 1. That God has revealed Himself adequately to everyone through His general revelation of Himself. If that were not enough, both the Psalmist and apostle Paul go on to tell of God’s holy law. This along with our God-given conscience are what make us “without excuse”. We are to respond to Him in a love relationship in light of who He is and what He has done for us.
Do I feel like God has revealed Himself to me? Yes, both in general and personally!
God, I pray today I could be one who shares Your holy word and the hope of salvation with someone today. Thank you for using me Tuesday night to call many to faith and public commitment to You.
