I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the man who fears Him and does what is right is welcome to Him. The word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all)— Acts 10:34
The Apostle Peter received a dream that prepared him to understand God’s salvation plan includes Gentiles. At the same time, God prepared Cornelius a praying Gentile to receive the gospel. How amazing it must have been for both of them to realize God shows no partiality. The pathway outlined for those coming to God is that they rear Him and do what is right… the same thing He gave to the children of Israel. All possible because of the pathway of peace made possible by Jesus Christ.
How fair am I in dealing with people? Am I open to sharing the gospel with everyone?
God, I am so glad you included me. Today I will walk in reverence of You and do what is right. Thank you for welcoming me into Your kingdom.
