For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority. Colossians 2:9-10
Jesus is unique. He is the God-man. Some have said it this way, Jesus is 100% man and 100% God. I must confess that I don’t understand all that. I simply know that Jesus is just better than anyone who has ever lived, He is different from anyone who has ever lived. He is able to make me complete.
How complete am I in Him? He is absolutely complete in Himself. I would say my life is very different from before I put my faith and trust in Him. Now, I have received forgiveness for my sins, the abiding presence of God’s Spirit and eternal purpose for which to live each day.
Jesus, again this morning, I find You unfathomable. But, to consider this amazing truth that in You dwells all the fullness of the Godhead in bodily form. Wow! Fill my mind with the implications of this and the equally mind blowing promise, that You dwell in me!
