Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 2-4
The Bible says that when I handle problems well, they produce endurance in my life. Its almost like the movie field of dreams, where the character played by Kevin Costner receives a whisper in the cornfield “go the distance”. God is whispering in our problems and various trials.
Am I responding to problems with joy or a sense of frustration. Really for me, its a blend of the two. I need to remember that God is wanting to make me perfect and complete, lacking nothing. So there is great value in every trial.
Lord Jesus, You are my model in all things. Would you help me respond to my problems in a godly way and strengthen me so that I endure them all. Perfect me.
