The LORD looked at him and said, “Go in this your strength and deliver Israel from the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you?” Judges 6:14
Gideon leveled his complaint on behalf of his people to God. God chided him and said “go in YOUR strength”. Then God revealed the real secret to all the miracles the children of Israel had experienced. It was because He was with them. This is the lesson Gideon needed to discover.
Have I discovered that 1 with God is always a majority leading to a victory? I have! But even now, as I look ahead I am believing God will draw thousands to Himself. The surpassing power will not be from me. All I must do is go in my strength. The rest, and I mean the overwhelming rest will from Him and His presence.
God, Oh what I am anticipating. I shutter to even say it out loud. The pouring out of Your Spirit upon and within the lives of people will be nothing short of amazing. And so I say, come Lord Jesus!
