Life is fun! You may wonder if Christians have fun or not? I used to wonder that. Let me assure you that following Christ is a ton of fun. It is a whole lot more too. Its profound purpose, relationship with God, a sense of miracle every day, and so much more. What’s different then about the fun I used to have before Christ and now? I left behind the sinful part that often accompanies worldly fun. As Christians we still “feast on life”. Jesus promised that He came to give us an abundant life, and He has kept His promise to me for sure! The challenge is not to revert to the sinful side of fun. The apostle Paul reminds the believers in Corinth to feast on ‘unleavened bread’.
Therefore let’s celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:8 NASB
What fun does God have ahead today? Perhaps surfing with Keanu at Lanipoko, Maui… or just hanging with the family.
