This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. We know by this that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:23-24
To abide in Jesus Christ is to believe and trust in Him and to extend His love to people around me. One way I know I am abiding is God’s Spirit communicates with me and directs me to love Him and others.
Is the Spirit of God at work right now in my life? Is He prompting me regularly about worshipping God and reaching out to other people? Yes.
God, you bid me fly and then give me wings. Thank you Holy Spirit for Your presence in my life. I surrender to Your leading today.
