Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water. John 7:37
Jesus invited people who had need to come to Him and be transformed. Those who were lacking or ‘thirsty’, would now be a source of water flowing from within themselves. Wow. An amazing promise.
I have found His offer to be true. When I cam to Jesus Christ, He filled my doubts with assurance. He healed the hurts and forgave the sin. Then He gave me the privilege of sharing His Word with others. In a real sense the thirst was replaced and His living water flows from my life.
Incredible! Lord Jesus, this has come true for me. May it be true of all I know. Save my friends, family and all I meet. Let the water that flows from the abiding presence of Your Spirit in Me, be a source of refreshment and salvation to someone today.
