Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” so that we confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6
There is a power in contentment. But, its not easy to find in a world that is comparative and focused to a large degree on things and stuff. Ultimately, if we find our contentment in the reality that God is with us, we can be without fear, without the feelings of ‘less than’, and happy.
From where does my contentment come?
God, I thank you for Your goodness and love. I know You are with me. That makes me happy.
