Your words were found and I ate them, And Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart;

Jeremiah had to deliver a harsh message from God. But he ate it up. In other words, he was willing to deliver the hard message of God to an unrepentant people. It was a message of judgment with an offer of hope. The people would not listen.
Am I, like Jeremiah, willing to deliver the bad news? Do I have the courage to eat alone? Yes, only because of God’s character, faithfulness, and presence in my life.
God, I worry about the people of America. Start with me and those around me to revive this people, because of Your great love.
