Songwriter, Keith Green had an amazing (and convicting) album titled… To Him Who Has Ears to Hear. It reminds me that God’s Word and God’s Ways are what I need in my life. Listening to the words of God and applying them to life by thinking about them and doing them is how we trust in the Lord. The Bible says these are excellent things of counsels and knowledge that will lead us to the truth and prepare us for the day we answer Him.
Do I listen? Am I one who has valued God’s word enough to think about it and apply it to my life? Yes, I believe my life is reflecting more and more each day the truth’s of God and His desire.
One day Lord, I will answer You face to face. Of course, I don’t want to make an apology for my life. I am trusting in Your grace and Jesus for my salvation. But, for my sanctification and fulfilling the purpose for my life… this is where I want Your word to inform me and shape me and prepare me. Help me have a reverence for Your Holy Word… in Jesus name.
