Don’t Wait To Worship

worship nowWhen Gideon heard the account of the dream and its interpretation, he bowed in worship. He returned to the camp of Israel and said, “Arise, for the Lord has given the camp of Midian into your hands.” Judges 7:15

Gideon didn’t wait to worship. He turned to praise God as soon as he heard the account of the dream that God would defeat the Midianites. And it happened. How often we wait to praise God until the outcome has actually happened. Jesus said “ask anything in my name, I will do it” – John 14:14 He is not a genie in a bottle, but He is all powerful and able to accomplish His will in us and through us.

God, am I showing that I trust You by worshiping even before I have all the results of Your miracle working power? I hope so.

Today, I choose to Worship You. There are some miracles in the works, some that have already occurred, and many I haven’t even noticed. Forgive me for not seeing how wonderfully You are carrying out Your will in me and around me and through me. I love you Lord.
