The apostle Paul recognized both his own sinfulness and the power of God to transform him. In this life we will always battle three enemies of our soul. The wiles of the devil, the lust of our own flesh, and the corrupt world we live within. But thanks to God, we have an inner working power brought about by the abiding Holy Spirit and the light of the Word of God to give us victory and power and deliverance.
How am I relying upon God and His Word right now? Completely!
Today Oh God, I realize again that left to myself, only death would result. But You have given me life through Jesus Christ. Awesome deliverance!
