But Jesus looked at them and said, What then is this that is written:
‘The stone which the builders rejected, this became the chief corner stone’?
Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust. Luke 20:17
Jesus was rejected by His own. Ironically, all of God’s redemptive plan for mankind is based on Him. Those who ‘fall on Him’ and humbly receive His love and forgiveness will find themselves in a right relationship with God. Those who reject Him will be absolutely crushed and scattered.
I am so glad for the day I came to Him for forgiveness.
God, what a joy to know You. Jesus really is my cornerstone. I am building my entire life on Him.
