“The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness. If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it will be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with its rays.” Luke 11:35-36
How I see the world affects the light that shines in me and out of me. In some ways we are a reflection of the light of God. The light of God is the love and truth of God. The power of God can reflect more greatly in my life if I am a clear, clean, perfect mirror.
Is there anything impeding, distorting, or refracting the perfect love of God and his truth in my life? Am I shining with the fullness of the rays of heaven itself?
Lord today, please remove anything that dulls the glory You could reveal by reflecting through me.
