One of the distinguishing marks of Christians is that they love. They love God, they love one another, they love their enemies… Christians love! By this one attribute, they are known as Jesus disciples. Good doctrine is essential, devotional activities and disciplines are admirable, passion is to be applauded, but love carries the day!
Is it evident that I am Jesus’ disciple? Am I doing what Jesus did in such a demonstrable fashion that others would recognize me as His? Oh I hope so, more and more, not for recognition, other than to be clearly affiliated with Him.
Jesus, you nailed it, as usual. Today, I am thinking about Bob Goff and the message of his life, let alone his preaching. Would you use the power of love to move me and others closer to You, more unashamed than ever, and more effective in the future. Help Olive Branch church have a truly miraculous baptism service too.
