See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. 1 John 3:1
I will always be my mom’s child. How amazing, that I am also called a child of the living God, the maker of the all things. What is the implication of such a reality? I am now a co-heir with Jesus Christ. I have been adopted in to a worldwide family of believers. I relate to Him in a personal relationship. Unbelievable, but true.
Am I living like a child of God? Do I fully appreciate and appropriate all that is available to me? Oh, I would say, only to small degrees.
God, I wonder what You might disclose to me today that is part of this incredible privilege to be called ‘yours’. This really is a great love that You have given to me and so many others. May I walk today in a manner worthy to be called your son.
