Cheap Grace or Amazing?

I am on the Grace Plan. Do you know what I mean by that? I am not trying to ‘earn’ my right standing with God or do enough good to be acceptable to Him. Its by His grace (unmerited favor) that I am saved. I did nothing to earn it. While I was a sinner, He loved me. In light of the glorious grace of God, I live my new life in Christ in a way that is honoring to Him. I don’t take advantage of my ongoing forgiveness by continuing to sin. Some do. For them, I guess its CHEAP GRACE that they have received. For me, its precious grace purchased with the blood of Jesus Christ. Jude warned about licentious living of deceivers who find their way into the church. Watch out!

Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints. For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Jude 1:3-4 NASB

Does my life reflect the goodness of God and proper response to His amazing grace? Do I seek after sensual pleasure outside of God’s will?

God, as this day begins- Oh so much ahead. I thank You for a miraculous week on the mission field in Mexico. I pray that each pastor and ministry partner is upheld by Your right hand today and that they love serving You where they are. May I love someone in Your name today. Lead and guide, make my day extra productive. Prepare me to minister to families at funerals on Saturday and Monday, and child dedications on Sunday. Amen.
