Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who esteem His name.
“They will be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.”
So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him. Malachi 3:16-18
I loved Valentine’s day at school when I was a kid. Everyone would put a little Valentine card in each other’s bag or box with a little candy. Sometimes the little heart shaped candies had a message like, “Hugs”, “Be True”, etc. One of them said “Be Mine”. That’s what God is saying to His people. Those who fear and love Him will one day be set apart and called His possession and be saved. He will treat us like a loving Father does His Son. We will receive the love and affection due Jesus if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.
Is my name and reverence for God written in His book of remembrance? How am I esteeming His name?
God, good morning. As this day begins, I declare that I am Your’s. Be mine as well. Thank you for working in my life and helping me with the projects I am managing. Please impart Your wisdom and insight to me today. Please give me favor with those I work with.
