Now when Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim, so He spoke to him. Numbers 7:89
Following the consecration of the tabernacle, Moses and God spoke to one another. God spoke from the holy of holies, literally from the mercy seat of the ark. God spoke from the place that represented Jesus Christ who was to come and become our mercy. Amazing how God depicted His provision for our sin from the very beginning. The entire Bible speaks of Christ.
Does my entire life speak of my need for Christ?
Lord Jesus, its always been about You, and for You! May my life today reflect the dependence and commitment and value I place upon You.
