Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person. Colossians 4:5-6
Jesus said every idle word would come into judgment. No that God is trying to ‘burn our buns’, but rather to see how important our words are. And to realize that every conversation could be used by Him to bring someone one more step closer to salvation.
I have senses this in many conversations. Sometimes God has literally given to me in my mind the words to say and to say them with boldness. I wonder if people were praying for me so that I wuold answer with grace, seasoned with salt. Amazing.
Lord today I am certain I will have words to say. Please give me (and my friends and co-workers) the insight into the opportunities of every conversation. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
