We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the temple that was built many years ago, one that a great king of Israel built and finished. But because our ancestors angered the God of heaven, he gave them into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar the Chaldean, king of Babylon, who destroyed this temple and deported the people to Babylon. Ezra 4:11
God’s people answered their detractors with a quick history lesson. While they were confident in their calling, they also realized that enemies of God were against them. So, they answered wisely and waited patiently to be confirmed.
How about me? Do I know my calling and am I aware there will be enemies of God’s plans that try to derail them? I am.
God help me walk with patience and wisdom in every way this week. Give me insight into what is happening all around me. Help me be wise in all my dealings.
