Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
God has always desired to be closer and closer to mankind. I am not sure how He could get any closer than He is right now! How amazing is it that the Holy Spirit of God would take up residence in us? The Bible reminds me that I was bought out of sin by Jesus’ precious blood shed on the cross. I am therefore no longer my own, but His. When I received His forgiveness, I also made a commitment to serve Him all of my days. So, each day, I try to reveal (glorify) God who lives in me.
What in my life reflects Him well? What is dulling the glory of God?
Lord, as this day begins, I pray You will work mightily in me. Please show Your great power, affection and compassion to me and through me.
