The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near. Revelation 1:1-3
The book of Revelation is unique in all the Bible. It promises a special blessing to the reader. I think the blessing is that God discloses to us how He will wrap up all of history in the end. He displays His great power, righteousness, and love. John was given the vision while under Roman arrest on the island of Patmos.
Have I read and understood God’s plan for the end of the age? Do I understand His plan for my life?
God, it always is a blessing to sense Your leading, guiding and providing in my life. Help me again accomplish Your will. Go before me preparing every conversation. Thank you for Your favor and grace.
