Now when Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim, so He spoke to him. Numbers 7:89
God spoke to Moses. He heard God’s voice from above the mercy seat. It was as if heaven was connected to earth and God delivered messages to Moses. How incredible it must have been. We are invited to do the same. Hebrews 4:16 says ‘
Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.’
How do I communicate with God? Do I realize it is from the mercy seat that God makes Himself available? Yes, it is because of Jesus sacrificial life, death and resurrection that I am able to approach God and enter into a personal relationship and His presence.
God, as I reflect back on this day, thank you that You had conversations waiting for me. You helped me encourage people and do some good in our world today. Bless me tomorrow. I hope I am a blessing to you.
