The season was about to change. While people were not hearing from God and receiving visions and direction for life under Eli, God was about to speak through the young boy Samuel. Life does have seasons where its more difficult to discern God’s leading and guiding. The scriptures hints that Eli’s problems were deeper and rooted in compromise.
How often am I hearing from God? Is He moving in my life and giving me promptings to go, stay, move, speak, etc.? Yes.
Today God, work in me. As I walk and talk and celebrate the resurrection, I pray my heart will overflow with gratitude as I think about your marvelous plan and power.
