He placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land; and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices. Ever have to choose whether you wanted the good news first or the bad news? This angel from heaven brings what appears to be a ‘mixed message’. The rainbow is a sign of God’s covenant and faithfulness to mankind. The feet like pillars of fire indicate judgment. Of great interest to me is… what is the little book? Over 100 years ago, Clarence Larkin wrote: This “LITTLE BOOK,” here open, is probably the “BOOK” that Daniel was told to “SEAL UP.” Dan. 12:4, 9. That “Book” contained things that were not to be revealed until the “TIME OF THE END.” Not the “End Of Time,” but the “End” of the “TIMES OF THE GENTILES,” How amazing would it be that God in His foreknowledge prepared a final message and prophecy for the angel to deliver to those living in the last days.
Am I a voice sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ?
Lord, may today be a wonderful first celebration of Jesus birth. May this whole season be filled with the joy that we have a Savior!
