You have wearied the Lord with your words. “How have we wearied him?” you ask. By saying, “All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and he is pleased with them” or “Where is the God of justice?” Malachi 2:17
God gets tired of people masquerading evil for good or claiming we are in a right standing with Him and that somehow allowing for it pleases him. Malachi the prophet pointed out that this kind of thinking leads to a mixed up view of God, that He isn’t a God of justice. He is!
In my life, am I clear about the evils in the world today: abortion, homosexuality, and the disintegration of the family? Yes, I know they are evils.
Lord, without pretending to be holier than others, help me stand for righteousness and advocate for good. I want to be your voice for justice, calling what is evil, evil.
