I love to hear stories of bravery and heroism or people who endured for a cause. I had a teacher who called that “stick to it iveness”. I try not be a person who easily gives up,… and I want my grandkids to be the same. In the seventeenth century when the King James version of the Bible was written, the English language was a bit different. Instead of saying “Act like men”, they would say “Quit like men”. When it comes to our faith we should not easily give up, but rather endure difficulty, criticism and even persecution. Let’s be people with “sticktoitiveness”. And always in love!

How sharp and alert am I to the needs of the others and the world? How resilient am I in bringing a bit of heaven to earth? Can others see my life is motivated by love?
God, as this day begins- Hallelujah! Its a Saturday with some free time to direct any way You desire and to rest. How wonderful life is in Christ Jesus. Please direct my steps, grant me favor, and make this day a day of refreshment. Thank you that some of the Grandcuties are coming over today.
