Where Are You, Lord?

Then Moses returned to the Lord and said, “O Lord, why have You brought harm to this people? Why did You ever send me? Ever since I came to Pharaoh to speak in Your name, he has done harm to this people, and You have not delivered Your people at all. Exodus 5:22-23

When God calls us to a task, there are moments of doubt. There are times where we ask ‘What’s going on?’ ‘Where are You, Lord?’ That happened with Moses prior to the exodus from Egypt. He was obedient, but it didn’t appear to him that God was working through him. But, He was. In the midst of that season, there were complainers and those that challenged him. Its ok to ask the question, but we should not veer from God’s calling, even in the midst of detractors,… if indeed God has called us.

What seasons have I felt doubtful or alone in ministry? How has God shown Himself to be faithful?

God, as this day begins, I feel You have come through so many times, my doubts are smaller than in younger years. Would you show Your continued love and mercy to me and through me. I can see what You are doing in so many situations and I do invite you to be ever present in my life.
