Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 2 Peter 2-3
God has given us everything we need to live this life and to do it in a god honoring way. By knowing Him, we become like Him in word, thought and deed. The character of Jesus becomes our own. We become partakers of the Diving nature and a way to heaven is supplied to us. This is amazing. Its the way to heaven. Peter wanted to remind everyone about it before he departed this world. So glad he did.
Is the character of Jesus growing in me? How useful am I to God and His kingdom?
Lord, on this day away from work, let’s cultivate together the things at the homestead that are necessary. Thank you for providing such a wonderful life. I see that You have put everything necessary within my grasp. Your promises are profound. Your presence is real. And Your love propels me. Looking forward to a blessed day.
