Ever feel like you want to comment and add your ‘two cents’ (your opinion). I have something to say about everything. But the Bible warns me that I ought to use discretion in opening my mouth and expressing those opinions. Sometimes, remaining silent may be the move that actually elevates my stature. Of course, there is a time to speak up for righteousness sake. Finding the balance is the key. Praise God we have the prompting of the Holy Spirit of God to guide us.
Am I speaking out too often on matters that don’t concern me? Am I shrinking back because of fear when I should speak?
Lord Jesus, You are my model in all things. Help me learn day by day when and when not to speak. If I save all the ‘two cents’ that shouldn’t be share… it won’t be long till I am a rich man. I am praying for a worship filled day, many to find salvation at church services, and for fun and blessed time with the kids today Lord. Thank you for the way You have made my life full.
