Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is inscrutable.
He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power.
Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly,
Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:28-31
In this messianic prophecy, God’s people are assured that there is no one like God. God has is the great creator. Even the stars are His doing, and He names them all. Man is like grass that appears and then fades away. God is eternal. He never tires. For those of us who wait upon Him, we to will soar like eagles and not grow tired and weary. What a God we serve?!
Have I come to know Him? How is my energy and zeal in serving Him?
God, this has been a wonderful day. I praise You for Your wonderful Word. Thank you that You renew my strength from the inside out. You restore my soul. As this week begins, I look forward to the good things You will do. I know all of this is an expression of Your great love. There is no one like You.
