The Wonderful Grace Of God

For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:3-7

I’m not saying I don’t do foolish things today. I do. But, certainly not as many as I did when younger. I would hope that I am obedient, enlightened, free from lusts with love in my heart for others. This has been the process of sanctification as I have endeavored to follow Jesus’ example and commands. Fortunately, He has given me the inside-out help needed by the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit in my life. This is the common experience of Christians for centuries. How wonderful and powerful is the grace of God!

Am I as patient with others as God has been with me?

God, as this day begins- I am asking for Your insight in all things. As I plan and prepare ministry activities, please give me access to Your mind and plans. Thank you for the truth that ‘no man comes (to salvation) unless the Father draws him’. Draw each in my circle of family, friends and influence.
