And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,
Great and marvelous are Your works,
O Lord God, the Almighty;
Righteous and true are Your ways,
King of the nations!
Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name?
For You alone are holy;
For all the nations will come and worship before You,
For Your righteous acts have been revealed.” Revelation 15:3-4
John’s vision shifts to heaven where angels are about to release bowls of wrath. Those people who had been victorious over the beast sing a song of deliverance. Its called the song of Moses and the Lamb. Moses is the Great Deliverer, the Lamb is Jesus Christ the victor over death. Its also the song that precedes the wrath which contains plagues… just like the plagues that preceded the great Exodus.
How has God been my great deliverer from the power and penalty of sin?
God, thank you for the last day of this year. Its a day of rest. I do sense you have an eternity changing moment ahead. Lead and guide as You always do.
