Then Hannah prayed and said,
My heart exults in the Lord;
My horn is exalted in the Lord,
My mouth speaks boldly against my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation.
There is no one holy like the Lord, indeed, there is no one besides You, nor is there any rock like our God. 1 Samuel 2:1-2
She got pregnant! She had desired a child so desperately, and God answered her heartfelt prayer. Now she praise Him. Hannah’s prayer of thanks and vindication is beautiful and strong. She reminds us that God is holy and Sovereign. He has the power to thwart our enemies. He opens the womb. He raises the poor up from the dust. What a mighty God we serve?!
What prayers of mine remain unanswered at this moment? Do I have faith in a God who is faithful?
Lord, You are faithful. I am recounting the answers to prayers today. Would you continue to move powerfully in my life and my family’s as well.
