Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor?
Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to him again? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. Romans 11:33-36
After reflecting on God’s plan to redeem Israel and Gentiles alike, Paul reminds us how incredible, glorious and amazing God’s plan of redemption really is. It must have been very exciting for him to see it all unfold around him and through him. Here was Paul, classically trained to be a leader of the Jews, persecuting The Way (of Jesus), miraculously converted (on the road to Damascus), and now sharing the gospel with Gentiles. God’s plans are just as intricate and well-thought-out for you and I.
How am I seeing the plans of God unfold in my life?
God, I see You moving and leading and guiding. I look forward to the next season of life with You and to discover what You have planned. As this day begins, may I be useful in sharing the gospel with Jew and Gentile alike. I want to pray for revival in our town. Touch the hearts and minds of people. I know that You, Jesus, and Your church are the hope of the world.
