But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left. Matthew 25:31-33
Jesus describes what the kingdom of God is like or can be compared to. He says its like a shepherd who separates sheep from goats. And the people He “knows”, inherit t he kingdom prepared before the foundation of the world. The “goats”, no matter what they say they did or accomplished, depart into everlasting darkness. Knowing Him is eternal life. This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3
How and when did I enter into the kingdom of God? When He returns, will He recognize me, and I Him?
God, there is nothing better to be part of Your kingdom. I pray today will be a day You enjoy as we worship in song, study the scriptures and enjoy friendships at church. I am expecting great things today.
