religious hateI found that he had committed nothing worthy of death; and since he himself appealed to the Emperor, I decided to send him. Yet I have nothing definite about him to write to my lord. Therefore I have brought him before you all and especially before you, King Agrippa, so that after the investigation has taken place, I may have something to write. For it seems absurd to me in sending a prisoner, not to indicate also the charges against him.” Acts 25:25-27

The apostle Paul was questioned before Festus and King Agrippa. They couldn’t really understand why the Jewish leaders wanted Paul dead. Then they were faced with the dilemma, ‘what do we tell Caesar is the charge against him?’ Most religious hate is absurd. The irrational persecution that has happened to the Jewish people over and over again, has no basis in fact or logic, but only absurd hatred. Recently, the killings of Christians in Libya,… the same thing committed by Muslims. What’s the answer? Jesus! It is He who said, love your enemy, pray for those who spitefully use you.

When was the last time I was mistreated for my faith? Did my response reflect the heart of Jesus?

God, a brand new day with much ahead. Would you lead and guide me? Also, help me complete a couple more tasks on the most important projects. Show Your might and power and love in me and through me.
