When God’s people came out of Egypt, they traded on form of slavery for another. They found themselves in the wilderness wandering because they were craving evil, idolatry, immorality, trying the Lord, and grumbling. God was not pleased. And He takes no pleasure in these today. The good news is that any of us can escape these temptations. We must guard against pride and humbly look for God’s way out.
Am I person who can learn from history? Or do I have to learn from my own mistakes?
God, You are gracious. Thank you for providing such a rich history for our sake. I pray You will continue to lead and guide me. I do ask that tomorrow I might hear the answer to the prayer request I have for our school.
